Will we see more of Scott’s relationship with Isaac?
Much more. I’d call it a bit of a bromance.
Just how much pain will you put Isaac through?
Two-in-one question, whoops! (1) Will Isaac and/or Boyd get a love interest in this season (reciprocated or not. (2) Are the Alphas straight-up villains, or will we see other (e.g. more ‘human’) sides to them?
1. Possibly. 2. Every great villain believes their are the hero of their own story.
Developed by Jeff Davis, the hit MTV drama series Teen Wolf returns for a super-sized, 24-episode third season that debuts on June 3rd. Picking up four months after the events that nearly ended Jackson’s (Colton Haynes) life and resurrected Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), Season 3 finds teen werewolf Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his friends Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), Lydia (Holland Roden) and Allison (Crystal Reed) beginning their junior year of high school unaware that a new threat has arrived in Beacon Hills – a deadly pack of Alpha werewolves intent on bringing Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) into their fold.
With the filming relocated to Los Angeles, Collider was invited to check out the set and chat with the cast for a series of exclusive interviews. While hanging out on the set of Derek’s new loft residence, actor Daniel Sharman (who plays werewolf Isaac) talked about where things are at now for Isaac, how his character seems to get more than his fair share of physical and mental torture, what the dynamic with Derek and Peter is like this season, where Isaac’s relationship is with Scott, how nice it’s been that the fans have embraced Isaac, and what it’s like to never know what’s coming next on the show. Check out what he had to say after the jump, and be aware that there are some spoilers.
Young Hollywood takes you on the set of MTV’s smash-hit supernatural series, “Teen Wolf”, to try and see if we can squeeze some Season 3 teasers out of the cast! Tyler Posey, Charlie Carver, Daniel Sharman, Tyler Hoechlin, and Dylan O’Brien remain ever mysterious, but we do find out who might be the biggest flirt on set, and there’s also a stare-off!
As I’ve been excessively tweeting about today, Jordan (@divergentshadow) and I (@runnersmaze) visited the London Comic-Con today, and my was it a wonderful trip. Luckily, we managed to get a few minutes in with Teen Wolf’s Daniel Sharman, who also done the audio-book for Cassandra Clare’s ‘Clockwork Princess’. We asked how he went about getting to do the job, what the entire process was, and what he thought of the entire journey. Here’s what he had to say!
“I have always loved audio-books, always always loved them from a very young age! I was in talks with them to do ‘The Mortal Instruments’ audio-books and it didn’t work out, and I didn’t hear from them again. Then they asked me to do the audio-book (for Clockwork Princess) and I said I would love to, it sounds great and I’d never done it before. It was the most amazing amount of fun, you get locked in the studio and just invent your own world, and just read through it and invent all these different characters. I don’t know if any of them quite worked but it was just the most amount of fun to do. I was in the studio for about forty hours over about a week and a half, because I was shooting ‘Teen Wolf’ at the same time, so I was working nights and then working in the mornings and had no sleep whatsoever. But it was all worth it, it was the most amount of fun because I got to just sit there and invent a whole world. I really enjoyed reading the book, and I knew of The Mortal Instruments, then I read The Infernal Devices and I thought they were great.”
We then asked him what he thought of the fans casting him as Will Herondale, and since the film has been optioned would he ever consider playing him, giving a pretty surprising reply!
“Yeah, there are actually a few roles I would love to play in that, it would be interesting. I would love to play Will, but there were so many in there that I would love to play. I’ve always been one to do the baddies, because I love baddies! But, you know it would be great! I hope it goes well because it’s a great franchise.”
How about that? Daniel Sharman would love to play the villain, which I think is safe to assume that he’s referring to ‘Mortmain’!

How does your character develop in season three and how do you feel about it.
Sharman: A lot changes, he goes through a bit of development of what was happening at the end of season two, deciding which side to ally himself with, which set of morals. It’s some great writing so thanks Christian Taylor and Jeff Davis.
This season seems a lot darker, could you tell us a little about that?
Sharman: Yeah a natural progression, there’s a maturity this season that comes with the darkness of growing up, angst and that sort of thing. It’s more mature. It feels natural as we explore things that we haven’t before.
What is it like seeing yourselves turn into monsters?
Sharman: Tyler Hoechlin and I went out to a coffee place, when we were reshooting something. He was in full wolf makup, but in L.A. they didn’t even notice, like that’s normal in L.A.!
7. When the season starts, Erica and Boyd have been missing for months, but Derek, Peter, and Isaac haven’t given up looking for them. The search nearly kills Isaac — and when he’s rescued, things don’t exactly improve for him. We’ll see Isaac go through some pretty horrific things in order to find the missing members of his pack. Not the least of which involves Peter’s fingernail-claws in his brain.
Sadly this is the only spoiler related to Daniel’s character, but you can read the rest of the spoilers at the source.
The full trailer will follow on Monday!

‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3 Spoilers: Isaac In Danger?
Even before we saw this clip of Isaac taking an involuntary dip, we knew that season three was going to be a rocky one for him. Back in Oct. 2012, MTV posted the first page of the season three premiere script, which revealed Isaac in a precarious situation with an unidentified lady. In the script, Isaac’s bloody body was being dragged along the ground, before being jolted back to life. Cue dialogue:
Girl: Stay with me, we’re almost there.
Isaac: My neck…
Girl: From their claws. It’s how they share memories.
Isaac: But I don’t remember anything.
Girl: Also how they steal them.
